Okemo Mountain

Okemo is the heart of the area with its year-round offerings for family fun and outdoor enjoyment. From mountain biking in the spring and summer to downhill skiing and riding in the winter, there is something for everyone no matter what the season.

Fox Run Golf Club

Located right in Ludlow, Fox Run Golf Club is home to a renowned 18-hole golf course.

From the Fox Run website: The championship 18-hole layout is a par 70 that measures 6,400 yards in length and features bent grass greens, tees and fairways with multiple tee areas on each hold ensuring playability and challenge for all ability levels. Rolling hills, moderate elevation changes and wide fairways with well-placed hazards enhance the Heathland layout.

Lakes Area

Lake Rescue is located along scenic VT Route 100 about three miles north of Ludlow and Okemo Mountain. The lakes occupies 180 access and reaches depths of 29 feet. The lake is fed by the Black River and is the thrid of four lakes extending from Plymouth to Ludlow with Lake Amherst and Echo lakes to the north and Lake Pauline to the south.

Scenic Route 100

Scenic Route 100 encompasses four-season beauty and is internationally known for its incredible fall foliage. With rolling hills, a meandering river, crystal clear lakes and ponds, mountain and valley vistas, unspoiled forests and quintessential Vermont towns, this route has it all. On the southern section, visitors can follow the Black River passing the sparkling water of Lake Rescue, Amherst, Echo and Pauline. On its northern section travelers delight at the incredible mountain views while the more adventurous leave their cars for an easy stroll to Thundering Book Falls for a quick gondola ride op the second-highest mountain, Killington Peak.
